About the Role We are looking for a Senior UX & Service Designer to help position UX as a strategic growth partner within our organization. This role operates at the intersection of user insight, business strategy, and digital transformation. The candidate will work with product, R&D, and business teams to translate emerging technologies and internal capabilities into clear market opportunities and compelling user value propositions. This role is critical in enabling our GBS UX team to operate as an internal consulting partner and drive revenue-generating projects. Key Responsibilities 1. Opportunity Framing & Growth Strategy Identify unmet user needs and emerging market opportunities Translate advanced technologies into relevant user use cases and product concepts Support business teams in defining value propositions and differentiation strategies Contribute to business case framing and strategic decision-making 2. User & Market Insight Lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives  (including exploratory research such as home visits, contextual inquiry) Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis Identify gaps between internal capabilities and market expectations Synthesize insights into actionable opportunity areas 3. Service & Experience Design Design end-to-end customer journeys across products, services, and digital touchpoints Define experience principles and service blueprints Facilitate cross-functional ideation workshops Align stakeholders around a clear experience vision 4. UX/UI Design & Execution Translate service design concepts into high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile platforms Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design specifications that effectively communicate design intent Conduct usability testing to improve design solution Build and maintain design systems (component libraries, tokens, UI patterns) to ensure consistency and scalability across products Collaborate closely with developers throughout implementation, conduct design QA to ensure pixel-perfect delivery Apply and advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG) in all design outputs 5. Storytelling & Executive Communication Craft compelling narratives to communicate user value and business impact Support executive-level presentations and strategic reviews Translate complex systems or technologies into clear, customer-centric stories Create presentation-ready design artifacts  5. Internal Consulting & Stakeholder Enablement Act as a trusted advisor to product and business teams Strengthen UX positioning as a strategic enabler within GBS Contribute to the commercialization of UX services internally Qualifications 8 years of experience in UX, Service Design, or Experience Strategy Strong understanding of product strategy and business models Proven experience in digital transformation or innovation projects Proficiency with industry tools: Figma, Adobe CC, 3D, AI tools Ability to connect user insights with business impact Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills Strong storytelling and presentation capability at executive level Experience in manufacturing, OEM, or B2B environments is a plus
