TheApplicationsDevelopmentSeniorProgrammerAnalystisanintermediatelevelpositionresponsibleforparticipationintheestablishmentandimplementationofneworrevisedapplicationsystemsandprogramsincoordinationwiththeTechnologyteam.Theoverallobjectiveofthisroleistocontributetoapplicationssystemsanalysisandprogrammingactivities.
Responsibilities:
•Conducttasksrelatedtofeasibilitystudies,timeandcostestimates,ITplanning,risktechnology,applicationsdevelopment,modeldevelopment,andestablishandimplementneworrevisedapplicationssystemsandprogramstomeetspecificbusinessneedsoruserareas
•Monitorandcontrolallphasesofdevelopmentprocessandanalysis,design,construction,testing,andimplementationaswellasprovideuserandoperationalsupportonapplicationstobusinessusers
•Utilizein-depthspecialtyknowledgeofapplicationsdevelopmenttoanalyzecomplexproblems/issues,provideevaluationofbusinessprocess,systemprocess,andindustrystandards,andmakeevaluativejudgement
•Recommendanddevelopsecuritymeasuresinpostimplementationanalysisofbusinessusagetoensuresuccessfulsystemdesignandfunctionality
•Consultwithusers/clientsandothertechnologygroupsonissues,recommendadvancedprogrammingsolutions,andinstallandassistcustomerexposuresystems
•Ensureessentialproceduresarefollowedandhelpdefineoperatingstandardsandprocesses
•Serveasadvisororcoachtoneworlowerlevelanalysts
•Hastheabilitytooperatewithalimitedlevelofdirectsupervision.
•Canexerciseindependenceofjudgementandautonomy.
•ActsasSMEtoseniorstakeholdersand/orotherteammembers.
•Appropriatelyassessriskwhenbusinessdecisionsaremade,demonstratingparticularconsiderationforthefirm'sreputationandsafeguardingCitigroup,itsclientsandassets,bydrivingcompliancewithapplicablelaws,rulesandregulations,adheringtoPolicy,applyingsoundethicaljudgmentregardingpersonalbehavior,conductandbusinesspractices,andescalating,managingandreportingcontrolissueswithtransparency.
Qualifications:
•5-8yearsofrelevantexperience
•Experienceinsystemsanalysisandprogrammingofsoftwareapplications
•Experienceinmanagingandimplementingsuccessfulprojects
•Workingknowledgeofconsulting/projectmanagementtechniques/methods
•Abilitytoworkunderpressureandmanagedeadlinesorunexpectedchangesinexpectationsorrequirements
Education:
•Bachelor’sdegree/Universitydegreeorequivalentexperience
